At Progressive Medical Research, our commitment to the community goes far beyond the clinic.
Dr. White and the PMR team believe that truly caring for people means showing up — not just in our research facility, but in the neighborhoods around us. That belief is what led to the creation of PMR2, our community outreach center at 939 South Ridgewood Avenue in Daytona Beach — a place so many have come to know simply as The Miracle Place.
Every Thursday from 1:00–2:00 PM, The Miracle Place opens its doors to neighbors in need. Local organizations come together under one roof to provide hot meals, clothing, blankets, toiletries, and more. In a single afternoon, we have served more than 70 individuals — and we show up every week to do it again.
This is what giving back looks like to us. Not once a year — every week.

Volusia Recovery Alliance coordinates peer-driven services that provide substance use recovery resources to our local community. We exist to serve all those seeking recovery from the impact of addiction, including families, friends, and allies. Halifax Urban Ministries
The mission of Halifax Urban Ministries (HUM) is to instill hope in those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless by meeting needs and helping achieve self-sufficiency.

Stand in the Gap Ministries
At Stand in the Gap, we do not offer handouts. Instead, through healthy relationships, education, and prayer, people in need are empowered to break unhealthy patterns in their lives and achieve self-reliance.
Sirius Healthcare
Sirius Healthcare provides compassionate, modern healthcare services designed to support individuals who face barriers to care. We specialize in HIV care, Hepatitis C treatment, STI services, prevention support, and care coordination for patients who are uninsured, underinsured, or navigating complex insurance situations.
Vietnam Veterans of America
VVA’s goals are to promote and support the full range of issues important to Vietnam veterans, to create a new identity for this generation of veterans, and to change public perception of Vietnam veterans.
ReNew Recovery Café
A Recovery Café provides a structure for developing healthy relationships and accountability that empowers Recovery Café Members (most closely held participants) to gain and maintain recovery, reduce return to use, and fulfill each individual’s growth potential.
Resources for Women
An unplanned pregnancy can feel overwhelming and very scary. Take a deep breath; We are here to help. The first step is to confirm you are pregnant and if the pregnancy is viable. This is done in our office with a laboratory grade pregnancy test and followed up with an ultrasound. Call or text to schedule an appointment today. Our services are free.
The Salvation Army Daytona Beach
The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

Giving a Reason for Hope (GARFH) is a non-profit organization founded by Dr. White with a simple but powerful mission — connecting compassion with action. GARFH provides financial assistance, resources, and support to individuals and families facing hardship, while also partnering with and funding local non-profits that are making a measurable difference in our community.
What started as a personal commitment to giving back has grown into an organized effort to fuel hope, one act of generosity at a time. PMR is proud to support GARFH and invite you to get involved.
