Caitlin Smith joined the PMR team in 2022. She is a nationally board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has a Bachelor in Science in Nursing (BSN) and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from the University of Central Florida. She has over 10 years of experience working as a nurse in the hospital in both critical care and the emergency room. However, her passion lies in the field of clinical research, where she shines as a sub-investigator and cognitive rater for clinical trials. She plays a crucial role in evaluating new treatments for diseases like Alzheimer’s Disease, Dementia, nonalcoholic steatohepatitis, hypertension, and diabetes.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Caitlin finds solace in nurturing her green thumb. Gardening is her cherished hobby, and she finds joy in spending time outdoors with her beloved dogs, Pepper the Corgi, and Teddy and Gwen the Cocker Spaniels. Together, they create a serene environment filled with blooming flowers and fluttering butterflies.
